It depends on exactly where you are in Staten Island and whether you will be taking the ferry or the bus. The ferry takes about 25-30 minutes. Added time to commute to the ferry via bus or Staten Island train could amount to at least 1-1.5 hours of commute to Manhattan.

Excellent value for the money, with a 7-8 min walk to the Staten Island Ferry and a very relaxed 25min trip to downtown Manhattan (and free!). The house is a bit outdated but adequate for most uses. Paul, the owner, always ready to help.
